This 10-day trip takes you to India’s so-called Golden Triangle (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur), with a rich backdrop of fascinating local culture, monumental architecture and historical splendor. You will also enjoy a memorable journey into Indian Himalayas with spectacular view of the snow covered peaks of Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra Valley. You’ll explore some of the most compelling highlights of northern India with mesmerizing enhance of Rajasthan culture with lots of fun activities, admire the historical monuments of Agra & Fatehpur Sikri, and journey towards Himalayas, where our carefully planned itinerary balances fabulous trekking and sublime views across the Himalayas with visits to local villages, finally ending up at the historic city of Amritsar.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel; Half day sightseeing of Delhi
Arrive at the International Airport of Delhi and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
Afternoon, we proceed for the half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Jama Masjid, is the largest mosque of Old Delhi and it was built between 1644 – 1658 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan who built the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Then visit Rajghat which is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi located on the bank of Yamuna River. It is located in Old Delhi opposite to the Red Fort and next to Chandni Chowk. Afterwards we drive pass through Colonial buildings such as the President’s House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931 and India Gate is a war memorial, also known as ‘All India War Memorial’. India Gate is 42m high located at the Centre of New Delhi across Rajpath. Evening drive back to Hotel for relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Jaipur with traditional Rajasthani Dinner (B, D)
After breakfast, drive towards Jaipur (Distance: 250km approx.)
Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City and is the colorful capital of Rajasthan with its rich cultural heritage and colorful past. It is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. Jaipur was established in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II the ruler of Amber and it is also known as ‘The City of Victory’. Reach Jaipur late in the afternoon and check-in to the hotel.
Evening drive to Chokhi Dhani – a model Rajasthani village where guests will have a feel of local culture. Reach the village and proceed for a walk around, see live traditional dance performances & puppet shows, enjoy short ride on camel back or bullock cart.
Later enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner at a Rajasthani Royal themed restaurant. After dinner return to hotel in Jaipur. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Full day sightseeing of Jaipur (B, D)
Early morning Cycling tour of pink city (optional)
After breakfast, we drive to the ancient capital of Amber, 11 km away from Jaipur. Famous for its massive Amber Fort situated on the hill. Later, we proceed to visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was specially built as a high screen wall so that the women of royal household could observe the street festivities while nobody can see them from outside.
Later, explore the bazaars with stunning Rickshaw ride in the pink city.
Late afternoon drive to Dera Amer for an exciting evening. Upon arrival guests will be greeted by resident elephants. After a short briefing on elephants by the caretakers, guests will participate in bathing and painting of elephants. Later proceed for an elephant safari through the nearby forest. Return to camp and enjoy a sumptuous dinner.

Day 4: Drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (B)
After breakfast, drive towards Agra, en-route we visit Fatehpur Sikri. It was formally the capital of the Mughal Empire; this wonderfully preserved ‘ghost town’ was constructed by Emperor Akbar and it reflects his ideals in art, religion and architecture. The mosque is designed to hold ten thousand worshippers. But this magnificence only lasted 14 years, as in 1585 Akbar left Fatehpur Sikri due to lack of water, leaving this city much as we see it today. Reach Agra late in the afternoon and check-in to the hotel. Evening free to relax at the hotel OR for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Morning Sightseeing of Agra and later drive to Delhi to catch the Overnight train for Pathankot (B)
After breakfast, visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal (remains closed on every Friday). Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love which stands on the banks of River Yamuna; it was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. The Taj Mahal is serenely beautiful and never fails to amaze a first time visitor.
Later also visit the imposing Red Fort of Akbar, third of the Mughal Emperors, whose mighty red sandstone walls enclose the beautiful white marble Pearl Mosque and the palaces, halls, courtyards and fountains of his sons and successors, Jahangir and Shah Jahan.
Late afternoon drive to Delhi railway station to catch train to Pathankot. (Dep: 21:30hrs Arr:06:00hrs)
Day 6: Arrive Pathankot, drive to McLeodganj, later sightseeing of Dharamsala (B)
Arrive Pathankot railway station and drive towards Mc. Leodganj (Dharamsala) (Distance: 90km).
Dharamsala (2000m) is also known as Little Lhasa and home to his holiness Dalai Lama. Mcleodganj has one of the most mesmerising landscapes in the entire state of Himachal Pradesh. Arrive and transfer to hotel for check-in for freshen up. Later visit Dalai Lama Temple in afternoon. Further visit Tibetan cultural center after that walk around the market and explore the surroundings. In the evening return back to hotel

Day 7: Hike to Guna Devi – Bahl (6hrs trek - B, L, D)
After breakfast, later in afternoon drive to Dharamkot (15mins drive) – starting point of the trek. We start walking through a leveled path for an hour to Naddi village. En-route we come across a Buddhist stupa and some meditation huts in the middle of the forest where old Tibetan monks lived and practiced meditation. From Naddi we have superb view of the peaks of Dhauladhar mountain range. Packed lunch enroute. We will continue walk for another one hour to reach Bhal village. It is steep ascent from here for another 1.5 – 2hrs to Guna Devi, a small Hindu temple in the middle of the forest, from where enjoy the most spectacular view of Dhauladhar range where mountains provide a flattering view of the Kullu Valley is thickly laid with Pine and Deodar trees covered with snow.
Later descend back to Bhal village where we spend chill night at camp with bonfire & dinner.
Day 8: Hike back to Dharamshala (3 hrs trek) (B)
After breakfast we start walking back to Dharamshala. The trek passes through Tibetan villages and will finally end up in McLeod Ganj.
Return to hotel and relax. Rest of the day free to explore the Himalayan town on your own.

Day 9: Drive to Amritsar (B)
After breakfast drive towards Amritsar. Reach Amritsar late in the evening & check-in to the hotel.
One of the most pristine cities with Guru-vaani humming from the Gurudwaras, Amritsar is renowned world over for the Golden Temple. Amritsar, literally meaning “holy pool of nectar” is the spiritual and cultural centre of the Sikh Religion.
If time Permits, evening attend the prayer ceremony at the Golden Temple, the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh community.

Day 10: Departure transfer to Amritsar airport for flight back home (B)
After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple and bazaars. Later transfer to Amritsar airport to board the flight for back home.
