Overview:

Our trip offers a variety of activities to give you the opportunity to explore Nepal’s rich culture and incredible nature! You will trek to Nagarkot- a beautiful hilltop famous for unforgettable sunrise and sunset views; you will explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square which showcases the marvels of Nepali medieval art and architecture and Pashupatinath, “a city of devotees”, 12 km south-east of Kathmandu city; you will enjoy a thrilling rafting adventure in the Trishuli fresh river water originated from the central Himalaya of Nepal, then continue for a Safari to explore the wildlife of Chitwan on  elephant back.

ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu ( D)

 A Rahhalah representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.

 Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive to Sankhu, Hike to Nagarkot (4-5 hrs) ( B,L,D)

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Sankhu. Then throughout your hike you will encounter humble rural settlements, refreshing woods and some of the most stunning views of Himalayan panorama including Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Gaurishankar Himal. After about 4-5 hours, you will reach Chhisapani (2115m), a small village nestled on the lap of nature. The village is a great retreat from the bustle and crowd of Kathmandu city. 4 hours of walk through the nature trail, you will reach Nagarkot to relish a breathtaking sunset view.

Day 03: Drive to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur and Pasupati sightseeing ( B, L, D)

Today, you have to wake up a bit early to witness one of the major highlights of the whole trip. As the golden rays of sun start spreading on the pearly mountain range, the mesmerizing spectacle starts unfolding in front of you. You can have the panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Makalu (8463m), Manaslu (8163m) and many other peaks. This stunning Himalayan views will remain in your memory for your lifetime. After feasting your eyes with the fascinating views, you will head towards Kathmandu via Bhaktapur and Pashupatinath, “a city of devotees”, 12 km south-east of Kathmandu city. After that on the way to Kathmandu, you will visit Pasupantinath. After the sightseeing, you can wander in the streets of Thamel, hunt the souvenirs or capture the moments in your camera.

Day 04: Drive to Chitwan via Trishuli rafting ( B,L, D)

Your guide and a driver will pick you from your hotel after your breakfast. Then you will hit the road in the snaky Prithivi Highway towards Chitwan. Chitwan is 136 south-east of Kathmandu. On the way at Baireni you have an option to cover the part of distance either by the car or via water, rafting on a fast flowing Trishuli River. If you prefer rafting, it is just 3 hours raft very close to Dashdhunga. Rafting at Trishuli is considered one of the best rafts of Nepal. If you prefer drive you will be directly escorted to Chitwan National Park for your lunch. However, on the highway you also have a choice to go with or let go the opportunity of canoeing at Royal Beach Camp Resort. You will be driven near by Chitwan National Park in the afternoon where you will check-in into the resort.

Activities included during 3 days /2nights programme:

Elephant Back Safari, Canoe Ride, Visit to Elephant breeding centre , Jeep safari ( sharing basis) and Tharu Cultural program.

Day 05: Wildlife safari at Chitwan Natinal Park ( B, L, D)

After the breakfast you begin the exportation the one of old national park is an UNESCO Heritage Site for wildlife conservation and Preservation. The park is a paradise for wildlife lovers where wildlife safari is an extra-ordinary fun. Dense vegetation and the expectations of encountering the several endangered species including one-horned rhino and Royal Bengal tiger suddenly out from the bush is thrilling adventure at the park. Also, the unique cultural dance of Tharu tribal amidst the bonfire during the evenings is yet again a worthwhile cultural come across at Chitwan. Your action packed day at Chitwan ends with sound sleep at a cozy Resort.

Day 06: Sightseeing in Kathmandu (Boudha, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square) ( B, L, D)

After your breakfast, you will be guided to a full day sightseeing tour to the world heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley, namely Bouddha Stupa, the largest and the oldest Buddhist stupa in Nepal; Kathmandu Durbar Square, the oldest Palace of Kathmandu and Patan or Lalitpur (the City of Artisans), which is 5km away from Kathmandu city. You will walk through Patan Durbar Square, and delight in the architectural wonders of Malla era. Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple and Golden Temple are the major attractions of the square.

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu as same snaky high way. You will be transfer to the same hotel.

Day 8: Departure (B)

Today is the final day of your trip. If you don’t have early flight, you can just do some last minute shopping or just relax in your room or at hotel lounge. You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight back home.
