A wildlife sighting is an unforgettable experience. You will visit the mesmerizing Ranthambore National Park;  enjoy its magnificent wild landscape and experience exciting jeep safaris. Ranthambore National Park is the site of one of the largest banyan trees in India. The wildlife here includes leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and chital. The park is also home to a wide range of trees, plants, birds and reptiles.

You will explore the famous Taj Mahal -a symbol of eternal love which stands on the banks of River Yamuna;you will also enjoy a memorable journey into Indian Himalayas with spectacular view of the snow covered peaks of Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra Valley. You’ll explore some of the most compelling highlights of northern India, together with its colorful people and journey towards Himalayas, where our carefully planned itinerary balances fabulous trekking and sublime views across the Himalayas with visits to local villages and fascinating Laka Glacier, finally ending up at the historic city of Amritsar.

ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrive Delhi , train to Ranthambore ( D)

Arrive at the International Airport of Delhi and transfer you to the railway station to catch train to Ranthambore by Rajdhani Exp, Dep: 16:50Hrs Arr: 20:36Hrs, Located at the junction of Aravalli

and Vindhya hills range, it is one of the biggest and famous national parks in Northern India.

Ranthambore National Park was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973 and it became a

national park in 1980. Ranthambore National Park is the site of one of the largest banyan trees in

India. The wildlife here includes leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and chital. The

park is also home to a wide range of trees, plants, birds and reptiles.

Day 02: Morning and evening game drives (B, L, D)

This day we have two game drives in Ranthambore National Park. The first game drive will be in the

morning and second in the afternoon. The game drive will be on a large open truck called a canter on

public sharing bases. Later after the game drives we come back to hotel and relax.

Day 03: Morning and evening game drives (B, L, D)

Day 4: Drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive  towards Agra,  en-route  we  visit  Fatehpur  Sikri. 

It was formally the capital of the Mughal Empire; this wonderfully preserved ‘ghost town’ was constructed by Emperor Akbar and it reflects his ideals in art, religion and architecture. The mosque is designed to hold ten thousand worshippers. But this magnificence only lasted 14 years, as in 1585 Akbar left Fatehpur Sikri due to lack of water, leaving this city much as we see it today. Reach Agra late in the afternoon and check-in to the hotel.

Evening free to relax at the hotel OR for independent activities.

Day 5: Morning Sightseeing of Agra and later catch the Overnight train to Pathankot ( D)

Early morning visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal (remains closed on every Friday).

Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love which stands on the banks of River Yamuna; it was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. The Taj Mahal is serenely beautiful and never fails to amaze a first time visitor.

Returnto hotel for breakfast and time free to relax. Later visit Red Fort of Akbar and late afternoon free and

evening catch train to Pathankot.

Day 6: Arrive Pathankot, drive to McLeodganj, later sightseeing of Dharamsala (B, L, D)

Arrive Pathankot railway station and drive towards Mc. Leodganj (Dharamsala) (Distance: 90km)

and transfer to hotel for check-in, get freshen up and later visit Dalai Lama Temple in afternoon.

Later visit Tibetan cultural center after that walk around the market and explore the surroundings. In

the evening return back to hotel.

Day 7: On Trek. Bhagsu Nag – Triund (2875 M) 9 kms walk (B, L, D)

After breakfast at Hotel, start walking from Bhagsu Nag. It is steep ascent for 4 hours through mixed

forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees to Triund. Packed lunch enroute. Triund is an alpine

meadow situated on top of a ridge from where we have superb view of the peaks of Dhauladhar

mountain on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Dinner with bonfire in the evening.

Day 8: Triund – Laka Glacier (3200 M) -Triund 8 kms ( B, L, D)

After breakfast at Triund, walk further upto Laka got. The trail traverses along the glacial moraine to reach an open meadow at laka got, a temporary shepherd encampment. Laka got is situated at the snout of asmall glacier called Laka glacier which is full of snow from March to June and the snow start to melt awaywith the monsoon and during post monsoon there is now snow. Spend some time at Laka Glacier. Packed Lunch at Laka Got. Later walk back to Triund for overnight stay in tents.

Day 9: Triund – Bhagsu Nag 4 hours walk and later drive to Amritsar (B, L, D)

After breakfast at camp you walk down. There is a possibility of taking a different route on the way back which is steep downhill via Laheta village. Reach Bhagsu Nag for lunch.  End of the Trek. Later drive towards Amritsar. Reach Amritsar late in the evening and check-in to the hotel. If time Permits, evening attend the prayer ceremony at the Golden Temple, the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh community.

Day 10: Departure transfer to Amritsar airport for flight back home (B)

After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple and bazaars. Later transfer to Amritsar airport to board the flight

for back home.
