Pati Valley trekking is almost 900m deep and was once a coffee plantation and now is home for around 30 families that open their house for trek lovers. This program is a great option to explore the National Park, from the North to the South of Chapada Diamantina. You will sleep in different and small villages and have contact with local people. Some highlights are included as Pai Inácio Hill and Buracão Waterfall.
The mythical Amazon can only be described in superlatives. It covers an area of more than 5 millions square kilometers covering nine countries (Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Suriname, Guiana and French Guiana) and 80% of it is located in Brazilian territory. The volume of water of its rivers (20% of all fresh water in the world) and the great variety of flora and fauna are probably the most impressive experience the visitors have in this region.
